About the CutieCure Team

CutieCure is built by a small team that takes both beauty content and AI quality seriously. Every nail-care guide, trend roundup, and feature explainer on this site is reviewed before publishing. Here’s who we are and how we work.

Aylin Demir — Lead Beauty Editor

Role: Editorial direction, fact-checking, trend research

Aylin leads beauty editorial at CutieCure. She writes and reviews every nail-care and trend article on the CutieCure blog, with a focus on practical, evidence-based guidance for healthier nails and on-trend designs. Her work covers gel and acrylic technique fundamentals, skin-tone color theory, seasonal trend forecasting, and the boundary between editorial recommendations and salon expertise.

Topics covered: nail art techniques, gel and acrylic nails, nail health, color theory, seasonal trends, AI-assisted manicure design.

Kerim Embel — Founder & CEO

Role: Product, engineering, AI systems

Kerim founded CutieCure in 2025 to make personalized nail art and virtual try-on accessible from any iPhone. He leads product, engineering, and the generative-AI and computer-vision systems that power the app’s nail art generation, virtual try-on, skin-tone matching, and nail-health analysis features.

Topics covered: generative AI, iOS development, computer vision, AI for beauty and lifestyle products.

Our Editorial Standards

Independence: Editorial content is independent of marketing. Product mentions on the blog are limited to features that are genuinely relevant to the topic.

Sourcing: Health and care recommendations are checked against generally accepted dermatology and nail-care practice. We do not give medical advice — persistent nail issues should be reviewed by a dermatologist.

AI disclosure: Some illustrative images on the blog are generated with our own AI system. Articles are written and reviewed by humans on the CutieCure team.

Corrections: If you spot an error or want to suggest a topic, write to us via the contact form. We update articles in place and bump the Modified date in the page metadata.

How We Work

  • Trend research: Aylin monitors editorial outlets, nail-pro communities, and on-platform user trends to surface what’s actually trending vs. what’s sponsored noise.
  • Practical first: Every guide is checked against the question, “could a reader actually do this at home or take this to their nail tech?” If the answer is no, the guide is reworked.
  • AI as a tool, not a shortcut: We use AI to draft, visualize, and prototype. Editing, sourcing, and final approval are human.
